What is it that makes people shiver or feel exhilarated when they hear the word Agile? What do YOU think AA means? Join us for our presentation on Agricultural Agility, where we take you on an unexpected journey and explore the implementation of Agile practices in a non-IT environment.
The Agile way of working has traditionally been associated with the software development industry, but its principles can be applied to other fields as well. We will explore the implementation of Agile Methodologies in an agricultural research project and focus on transforming team governance, communication, and roles and responsibilities. We dig deeper in the culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and customer-centricity that is essential for success, and share insights on how to achieve efficient transformation to Agile.
Whether you're new to the concept or already well-versed in it, don't miss this opportunity to learn about the potential of the Agile mindset to revolutionize processes and outcomes, even in non-IT settings. Join us for an “unexpected” presentation that will leave you with a brand-new perspective on what it means to be Agile.

Tom is a 33-year-old guy, living near the Belgian beer capital, Leuven. Next to his addiction to various kinds of sport, he's also a Test Engineer and Scrum Master at CTG Europe.
After achieving a Bachelor's degree in sports education, he re-discovered programming and the search for a new job became the search for a new educational program.
Without any doubt, the journey started with a full day-time course 'Enterprise Java Developer' (2019) organized by Cevora. After successfully finishing the course, he applied at CTG (2020). There he learned and mastered as much as he could about software testing to become a worthy Test Engineer.
He worked on multiple interesting, sometimes international, projects. In a short time span, he evolved from being a software tester to an effective SCRUM Master. Later he also worked closely together with the project managers, in supporting them in their daily tasks.
He's always ready to take on any challenge and expand his knowledge on a daily basis with a smile on his face.
